Something weird has happened. I appear to have created some actual “Four Little Seymours” merchandise. It was accidental, and happened when I stumbled across a calendar deal online.
“Ooooh,” thought I. “I wonder if I can whip up a calendar for my mum for Christmas? What can I put on it? Oh yeah! All those shit drawings I have done which are conveniently located in an album on my desktop.”
Bob, as they say, is your uncle.
The calendar arrived today, which was quick – I will give Funky Pigeon their due.
And the verdict..? It’s actually quite good! It works. As my family members have just pointed out, I didn’t pick the most appropriate etchings for each month of 2019, but IT WAS AN EXPERIMENT. My funny little drawings will now adorn my mother’s kitchen wall for every single one of the three hundred and sixty five days of twenty nineteen -whether she likes it or not.
So Mum, if you are reading this, I apologise for spoiling the surprise. (As my mum is one of my twelve subscribers, I strongly suspect the surprise is well and truly annihilated.) But come December 25th, you will be the proud owner of a unique (there are only two in existence) Four Little Seymours 2019 Calendar. There is no glamour on said calendar. No naked torsos. Not a swim suit in sight. We can’t boast Peter Andre’s pecs, or the appeal of Jordan’s timeless beauty (!). The pictures are all in purple pen – there is no colourful, admirable photography to look at month in, month out. But hey guys, if you want one, you only have to ask….
